Whidbey Animals’ Improvement Foundation Partners With DocuPet for Better Pet Licensing and Safety

Pet licensing is now simpler and more convenient for residents in communities served by the Whidbey Animals’ Improvement Foundation.

Through a new partnership with DocuPet, pet owners can easily manage licensing requirements online at any time. The updated license program allows residents to purchase tags, submit documentation, update account details, and complete renewals remotely. This streamlined process saves time for owners while ensuring local pets remain properly licensed and protected.

Pet licensing and rabies vaccinations are mandatory for all dogs and cats within the City of Oak Harbor. Residents in unincorporated Island County (Whidbey and Camano Islands) are subject to the same regulations for dogs only. These requirements help keep the community safe and ensure pets can be identified and returned home as quickly as possible.
