DocuPet and Maricopa County Animal Care and Control Simplify Pet Licensing for Over 4 Million Residents
We’re proud to introduce a smarter, more streamlined way to license pets in Maricopa County through our new partnership with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC).
With every license, pet owners can access our free HomeSafe® 24/7 Lost Pet Service, detailed pet profiles linked to unique IDs printed on each tag, and easy-to-use tools for managing pet information. In a county with a booming population of over four million residents, having a modern, scalable licensing solution is more important than ever and together, we’re making it easier to protect pets and give owners peace of mind.
“We’re excited to partner with DocuPet to provide pet owners with a simplified, modern licensing system that enhances pet safety,” said Debbie McKnight, Director of MCACC. “Thanks to this partnership, we will be able to keep more pets with their people and reduce the number of stray pets coming into the shelter. We encourage residents to take advantage of this program—not just to keep their own pets safe, but to help improve animal welfare in our community.”
State statute requires all dogs over three months of age, residing within Maricopa County for at least thirty consecutive days of each calendar year, to be licensed and vaccinated. To learn more, please visit maricopacounty.docupet.com
