Greene County Simplifies Pet Licensing with New DocuPet Partnership

Pet owners in Greene County now have a simpler way to license their pets. The Greene County Auditor’s Office has partnered with DocuPet to introduce a streamlined, modern licensing system that improves pet identification and supports the community.

Each dog license includes HomeSafe^®, DocuPet’s 24/7 lost pet recovery service, at no additional cost. If a licensed dog goes missing, trained specialists are available around the clock to assist with reunification. Cat owners may also voluntarily license their pets and receive the same protection.

The partnership reflects the County’s commitment to enhancing service, increasing efficiency, and helping keep pets safe, while reinforcing the important role licensing plays in maintaining community safety, as all dogs in Greene County are required to be licensed.
